Our graduate degree allows you to choose courses in foods and nutrition, family studies, and other areas within the field. You'll be able to choose among daytime and online courses, and you'll have opportunities to participate in workshops and travel/study tours.

Admission Requirements

The Department of FCS has adopted the following admission criteria: (GPAx50)+(GRE V+Q) is greater than or equal to 428. In addition, you must score a minimum of 146 on the Verbal section of the GRE.


If your undergraduate degree is in a discipline other than FCSC or one of its subject matter areas, you may be required to complete some amount of undergraduate coursework. The graduate advisor will work closely with you to determine any undergraduate deficiencies.
